The Best Trek Podcast!
This podcast is way better than Trek’s “official” podcast, with great intelligent insights as opposed to just a high level commentary 🖖🏼
You need to know more about ALL Star Trek
Beside the fact that you did mention in the 1st EP that you all don’t have a complete understanding of ST, I find it annoying with key races like Vulcans and to a lesser extent Klingons, you are not up to speed.
Most notably would be the Vulcan Katra?, yes mentioned in St3-TSFS but also and more importantly fleshed our in STE S4. Much talked about and often looked over mainly due to 1st & 2nd seasons, Enterprise ended up being a great ST show, especially in the 4th season. Not only did we learn more about Vulcans than in any other series, finally the whole “why do Klingons look different in TOS” to later movies and series. DS9 did mention the Klingon look in the classic “Trouble with “Tribbles” ep but STE really did sort this out.
Back to STDSC looks fantastic and I buy it however I am hoping that these Klingons will be ancient race of Klingons, ceremonial perhaps but unfortunately it may just be a case of don’t ask just believe they are the same.
Also a lot of the sound effects seem to be TNG, STVOY mixed with TOS.
I am enjoying your PodCast and looking forward to more.
