Hi! Welcome to Storytime with Seth Rogen, where every week Seth asks somebody, “Do you have a great story? And if you do, will you tell it on my podcast?” That’s it. That’s the concept. But the results are so much more than that.
This is not a typical comedian-hosted chat show! Each episode plays like a little audio documentary, a feature presentation unto itself, with supporting interviews and archival tape woven into each story with a rhythmic editing style. Not all the stories are knee-slap funny, and not all the guests are known. From a near-death grizzly bear fight in remote Canada, to a life-altering celebrity encounter in a movie theatre, to the revelation of a family secret, Storytime starts with Seth’s curiosity about people and the world, and always ends up in an unexpected place.

As a child, Paul Scheer developed a taste for cola mixed with milk from his favorite television show. Sounds like a habit one would eventually grow out of, but as Walt Disney once said, “that’s the real trouble with the world: too many people grow up.” Featuring Paul’s dad Bill, and Seth’s parents too.
Listen to Paul Scheer's podcast "Unspooled" wherever podcasts are found. And check out Paul's Twitch channel at twitch.tv/friendzone. Paul has a weekly Thursday show with Rob Huebel and curates an awesome lineup of other programming throughout the month.
A freak accident in South Africa causes Franklin Leonard to rethink his life plans.
Well produced, funny and surprisingly heartfelt.
Cleverly told stories, great use of music and style. Would recommend.
What a surprise! Amazing! Unique!
Im a massive fav of Seth and his work,
Yet unfortunately when someone you admire makes a podcast, they dont all work.
This on the other hand is amazing, the layout of the show, how everything is produced is outstanding. From the credits at the end of the show i feel like there is a big team making this happen, but if thats what is needed to punch out episodes of this podcast then thats the way it is. Do not change a thing, what you all have done is unique, and extremely entertaining! Thanks to you all, clearly you have all put in a lot of hard work, hence why im writing this review.
Seriously who could be bothered writing a review….
Me, because this deserves it!
Thanks again, Tim from Australia!!
