In Episode 17 Michael and Brandy discuss Action Against Hunger. They are fighting hunger around the world. They try to teach locals to incorporate the tools AAH brings in order to have lasting effects. Then they talk about the murder committed by Byron David Smith. He was in his home when two teenagers broke in. He shot them both as they came down the stairs to the basement. Was he in his right to protect his home?
Puppies Behind Bars and Robert Lyons
In this episode, we discuss the murderer Robert Lyons. He was diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder early in his life and always struggled with it. After an argument with his mother, he asked her if he could go see Avril Lavigne in concert. When his mother said no, he snapped and murdered her. Did he want to kill her or was he having a Bi-polar episode? Then we discuss Puppies Behind Bars, a great charity that provides inmates with dogs to train into service animals. Then they help many people, including veterans, by providing them service dogs.
Child's Play and Mona Fandey
In Episode 15 Michael and Brandy discuss the great organization Child’s Play. This charity connects with children’s hospitals to make sure the time kids have to spend in the hospital is a fun as it can be. By providing gaming systems and games to hospitals, they give kids something to do and something to take their minds off of why they are in the hospital. Then they talk about Mona Fandey, a former pop singer turned shaman. Her and her husband and their assistant brutally murdered a politician looking for help. Then they dismembered his body and buried him in a storeroom. They were all later found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging. Before she was hanged, Mona said “I will never die” with a smile on her face.
