Suswati Basu is a journalist, activist and the host of How to Be, a podcast about what it means to be a human 'being' rather than a human 'doing'.
Suswati's activism began with speaking out against gender violence and now also encompasses disability and mental health advocacy. In this episode, we talk about her advocacy work, the importance of having conversations with those that are different from you and why it is so important to understand that diversity and equality benefit everyone, not just those currently unrepresented.
