This week I’m chatting with Parker Mayes. Parker is an undergraduate marketing and business student at North Carolina State University in the United States, a Global Communications Intern at LexisNexis and host of Taking A Breath Podcast, a podcast where guests share their stories and perspectives on becoming a better leader, mentor and friend.
Parker shares his experience of college through Covid-19 and the challenges and opportunities that lockdown created for him. Parker explains the benefits of interning and how he secured an internship with LexisNexis, a global provider of legal, government, business and high-tech information sources.
We discuss delaying happiness, social media influencers and content consumption, the value of youth in the workplace and what generations can learn from one another.
