My favourite listen

I could listen to Liza and Kara talk about anything honestly. That they talk about one of the best shows ever is a bonus. Feels like hanging with friends - who are funny. Ive never re-listened to a podcast before but I have listened to these through multiple times. Since I started listening at about episode 9, i can happily go back to the start and its just as good if not better

Covers it all

I love how funny and smart these two are. There’s so much humour and so many pop culture references that make the podcast so entertaining but equally the coverage of the episodes and real cases is covered with insight and respect. And professional and informed interviewing skills with quality guests. I’m hooked!

Binged and now up to date!

It’s a fun structure. I binged all episodes. Finally up to date. I haven’t watched SVU in a while, so I was looking for something to fill that void. It’s nice to listen to recaps, gain insights on the behind the scenes and recollect old episodes. They are pretty opinionated when it comes to cops, men and other topics, so that may be off putting for some folks. I’d say, You don’t have to agree with everything they have to say - for the most part it is just comments, jokes, exaggeration and generalisations in the moment, and if you aren’t aware of that it might really rub you the wrong way. 😄✨

Their recaps and (the majority of) the guests are really fun and entertaining. I like how chaotic Liza is and how they both are opposites and sorta balance and notice different details of the episode / cast.

This pod has been my go to long form for the past couple of months.

Thanks!

Melbourne, Aus.
