Anglo Italian Awards - Premier League 23/24 Season Review feat. Dan from @HLTCO

Hello and welcome back to the Anglo Italian Pod!

This Friday it is time for our annual Anglo-Italian Awards as we look back at the Premier League 23/24 Season. Ruairi & Adam are joined by Palace fan and all round legend Dan from @HLTCO to bask in what has been a frankly ridiculous season in the Premier League.

To start us off Dan takes in Ruairi & Adam's preseason predictions to see what he's let himself in for and just how little the boys know.

Then it's time to decide, or attempt to decide on:
    Player of the Season
    Young Player of the Season
    Best Siging
    Worst Signing
    Best Manager
    Surprise Package
    Goal of the Season
    Match of the Season
    Meme of the Season

Bevenuti and welcome back to The Anglo Italian Pod! Normal service is resumed as Adam is joined by Ruairi & Ben to discuss all the action from the final weekend of the Premier League & the penultimate weekend of Serie A.

Starting in The Premier League as the boys look back on a historic title for City and talk about the stand out players and moments, they discuss the strengths of Arsenal and how they can make that next step. Then to the relegation battle which wasn't much of a battle, is it a worrying sign that all 3 went down with only 27 points?

Next up it's Serie A, beginning with Torino's huge win over Milan and a possible late charge for Europe, but who will be in charge next season? Then to the relegation battle as we say arrivederci to Sassuolo and give Ranieri flowers for his continuing legacy in Sardinia, and finally the focus is on the race for Europe as La Dea confirm their spot in the UCL and how the boys see the final going?

Welcome, benvenuti to The Anglo Italian Pod! This week Ruairi is joined by Kieran Hill of KHAnalytics to discuss all the weekend's action from The Premier League & Serie A!

Starting in North London as it remains red and Arsenal continue their push for title then Klopp and Salah, it wasn't supposed to end like this. Moving down the table the boys discuss Chelsea deciding to play football and do Burnley have a chance of beating the drop?

In Italy it's party time for half of Milan as Inter continue their celebrations and ease past Torino and Napoli and Roma battle it out for the European spots. Further down the table are we losing two of Serie A's great talent factories? And we say farewell to Salernitana but hope to see them again soon.

To finish there is just enough time to talk European football looking ahead to the midweek fixtures.

The Manchester FA Cup Final & Juventus struggle again

The Manchester FA Cup Final & Juventus struggle again

[This episode was recorded live on 22-04-24 on our YouTube channel, catch it every Monday at 20:30 GMT]
Ciao and benvenuti! In another eventful weekend of football, Adam is joined by Kieran from KH Analytics and Andrea from the Fiorentina Fan account to discuss the key topics.
We start be diving into the eventful FA Cup Semi Final ties as Manchester City saw off Chelsea with a sole Bernardo Silva goal. But did Chelsea miss their best ever chance to get to a final? And does Man City deserve a longer rest period between games? Meanwhile Coventry City run Manchester United so close. Did Erik Ten Hag get lucky or do his players need to to take more responsibility?
Nottingham Forest started a conspiracy that wouldn't look out of sight with Matt Le Tissier's views, but should they have been more professional and should there football do the talking? Also could Burnley stay up?
In Serie A, Massimo Allegri gets a draw at Cagliari but is the writing already on the wall? Udinese take the plunge by bringing in Fabio Canavaro in as a coach, can he inspire them to survival? Lecce and Empoli also get some important wins so is the relegation battle now between a few clubs?
Listen for this and more as we also live out Inter winning the Scudetto.
