    Ever feel like you're kinda living the same year over and over again, and then BAM- you get to January 1 and you're like "no wait, but really- THIS year is going to be different!" And then come December, you look back and realize that really, you're just a year older and not much else has changed in your life?

    Yeah. That's actually one of my greatest fears- living a status quo life and reliving the same year over and over again without actually moving the dial forward. I am horrified to live a passive life of which I wait to life to happen to me instead of intentionally creating a life that I want to live.

    This episode is heavy hitting. Don't expect to leave this episode feeling warm fuzzies. DO expect to leave this episode with a roadmap to get out of your own way with customized action-steps that will help you feel the way you want to feel all year long (so long as you get rid of any of the remaining BS you're holding on to.)

    You know how when someone makes a comment about your body and your face instantly gets hot and you get that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach?

    Yeah. We're going to talk about what that means.

    Triggers are actually our greatest teachers. It's not for the faint of heart, but the way I see it is we have two options: we can live a life devoid of being triggered (no growth) or we can woman-up and lean into the things that trigger us and allow them to teach us (growth.)

    Growth is painful, there's no denying that, and so we have a choice: stay stuck by avoiding the discomfort of growth or getting curious and leaning into the discomfort.

    This episode is all about our triggers- what it means when we're triggered and how to navigate the messiest parts of ourselves with courage and vulnerability. (Brene Brown would 100% approve of this message, ha!)

    Ever feel like you don't have enough time?
    Yes- the entrepreneur's greatest asset (time) always seems to be running short. There's never enough to go around and at the end of the day, you realize that you're functioning at 20% at best. Your clients get most of your time, your Instagram game gets the rest of your time, and everything and everyone else just kinda goes wherever there's small windows, right?

    Something like that.

    I know you built a business so that you can have more freedom. But if you're anything like me, you built a business without any respect for your time or energy. It's a tough hole to crawl out of. But it has to be done.

    Making more time has to become a priority for you, or your business will work against you. It'll rob you of your peace and sanity, and you'll end up resenting your business (and sometimes even your clients) because of it.

    KNOW THIS: not having enough time is a SYMPTOM. Is it not the cause of anything. When we know that being short on time is a symptom, we have to take a step back and look at what's causing that to be true.

    This episode looks at lack of time from a business model perspective, but the exercise I walk you through can be applied to any true cause of the "lack of time" symptom even if your business model isn't your particular cause to being short on time.

    There may be a moment in your business where some of these shifts you pursue make you feel like you're free falling. It is scary, but it's totally normal. Remember this: you started a business because you're brave. So you have what it takes to make these shifts no matter how scary they may feel. You can do it. I know you can :)
