Wonderful - wish it were a daily podcast!

Such a wonderful podcast. Nigel is deft at bringing out his guests very interesting personal stories, with great respect, empathy and humility. I love the quality of the recording. It feels intimate, like I am in the same space. Would love to hear an interview with Dr Joanne Chory, who is leading the charge to save our planet from warming through her research in genetically modifying plants to take up more carbon. As she suffers from Parkisons time is of the essence in many ways.

A gem of a podcast

I’ve just come to this podcast but have been interested in Nigel since his book, ‘Observations of a Very Small Man’ appeared. This poddie has delivered in spades as he draws out his guests, people we know of through various media, with wit, fun, and genuine interest in their five selections (and their sixth at the end of the show), and their lives generally. Thanks Nigel and guests 🎉.

Insightful and real

Nigel finds a way to uncover some amazing things about his guests. It’s interesting to see where each goes and how different they are when starting with the same base. Great easy listening.
