Welcome to The Good, The Dad & The Ugly: The Fatherhood Podcast. Your number 1 guide to being a dad, brought to you by a few guys who haven't a clue. Join Seth Singh Jennings, Jamie Tucker and a different special guest each episode as they try to navigate the unpredictable and often choppy waters of fatherhood, whilst attempting to figure out what it means to be a parent in 2017. As well as full length monthly episodes, we have weekly 'Baby Bites' which offer additional content and a chance to hear previously unreleased material. This is your weekly dose of honest chat about modern fatherhood!

Ep. 16 - The Rebirth
Aaaaaaaand we're back. After giving ourselves the summer off to watch the World Cup (and Love Island), we're returning to your podcast app to talk all things fatherhood.
In this ep, the first of our unofficial second series, we find out how Seth and Jamie's summer holidays have shaped up with Eliza and Matilda in tow and we hear a cautionary tale on why potentially toxic liquids should not be left in reach of young children...in case you didn't already know!
We also have a rather echoey chat with journalist and author, James Millar, about his new book 'Dads Don't Babysit: Towards Equal Parenting', which takes a new approach to tackling gender inequality in the home and at work, especially for anyone thinking of taking shared parental leave.
Really glad to be back doing this podcast thing, hope you enjoy!

Ep.15 - A First Aid Special with Sarah Kohn
In this month's FIRST AID SPECIAL episode, our guest is Sarah Kohn, mother of three and founder of Early Bird First Aid. From head injuries to burns, choking to drowning, Sarah takes Seth and Jamie through all the important stuff you NEED to know if you look after children.
Sarah also offers great tips on baby-proofing your homes, so make sure you listen...this is all a bit terrifying but absolutely crucial knowledge to arm yourselves with.
Enjoy!

The Big Question with Tom Redwood
We're joined back in the studio by celebrity chef and founder of the revolutionary baby food company - Babease. Seeing as we have him in again, we thought we'd ask him the Big Question, which is - How much influence should Dad have in pregnancy and birth?
I'm sure we all have a lot to say on this matter, which made it a question worth asking.
Check it out!

Ep.14 - Tom Redwood & His Baby Food Revolution
This month we are joined by chef to the stars turned entrepreneur Tom Redwood as he talks to us about the disappointing encounter with baby food which inspired him to set up 'Babease', his own brand of 'vegetable-led' baby food, currently making waves in the industry. Tom also discusses his take on how to develop your baby's love for different (and nutritious) types of food from a young age...and tells us why he has a real problem with fussy eaters!
We hear about how Tom's own culinary journey has seen him start life as a vegetarian and develop into a meat eating chef working in an upscale veggie restaurant in Brighton (go figure!), his time as a private chef for Simple Minds and Craig David, and his much more recent experience of becoming a dad for the first time.
Seth and Jamie also catch up about what's new with Eliza and Matilda.
Enjoy!

Ep.13 - The Good Dad Ugly Team & a Few Too Many Beers
Yes! We're back after a month off and we bring you a 'best of' episode. But unlike the 'best of' episodes of some of your favourite American sitcoms, our one is pretty entertaining.
It's been a year since we started this podcast...and since Seth became a dad, but let's focus on the bigger picture here...so the four of us decided to sit down with a few (definitely too many) beers and celebrate the last 12 months of podcasts.
So join the whole Good Dad Ugly team as we get progressively more hammered and reminisce over our individual favourite moments from our back catalogue of amazing guests, including Doc Brown, Matt Willis & Father of Daughters (FOD)...whilst accidentally electrocuting DJ Kojak in the process!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 12 months and here's to another year of podcasting. We have some great guests already lined up for the next few eps, so stay tuned!
Enjoy!

The Big Question with Alex Baker
Ho ho holy crap it's another podcast! We're back on the tinsel-lined Dad Couch once again with Kerrang Radio's Alex Baker, to ask a Christmas themed Big Question - How much should you spoil your kids at Christmas?
It's something that everyone has an opinion on and so who better to come up with the answer than us idiots? Have a listen to find out if we're more Scrooge than Santa!
Thanks for listening, have a great Christmas and see you in the new year!

Customer Reviews
Amusing, honest & informative
Providing a genuine viewpoint of pregnancy & being a new parent, from a male perspective, in a naturally comical manner while informing the less knowledgable. Great podcast, keep up the good work.
Loved it
Relevant, useful topics for both Dads and mums (&parents to be), very well produced with cleaver use of soundtracks. Important and insightful to hear honest fatherhood and parenting dialogue from a male perspective. Can't wait for the next episode!
