Ancient humans journeyed out of Africa and made it all the way down to modern day Indonesia, right to the doorstep of Australia, and lived there for millions of years. Did any ancient humans make it to Australia before homo sapiens?

Great podcast on history of Australia
Have just discovered this podcast - the only of its kind on Australian history. I Am 4 episodes through and so far really enjoying it. Very informative and well produced. I look forward to following the journey and learning more about the history of my country
Delivered at high school or low undergraduate level (the teenaged patois is annoying) and there are some glorious malapropisms (hypothecated rather than hypothesised😉) but it’s subject matter is not covered elsewhere and the material is reasonably up-to-date. Would like to see more explicit recognition of the academic sources. Ernest effort. Please keep going.
