The Land Forces' Sovereign Defence Industry Breakfast Panel Australian Defence Magazine Podcast

In this episode, we present the Sovereign Defence Industry Breakfast Panel from the Land Forces event held in Brisbane on Wednesday 3rd of June. Moderated by Katherine Ziesing, Managing Editor of Australian Defence Magazine, the panel featured Rob Nioa, Managing Director & Founder of Nioa, Jon Hawkins, CEO of Omni Executive and Jim McDowell, CEO of Nova Systems.

The discussion started with the panellists giving their views on sovereignty and recommendations for how Defence industry can align with the government's Sovereign Industry Capability Priorities. This then moved on to observations on industry's ability to meet the increased rate of development and the sate of manufacturing in Australia.

The discussion wraps with identifying the implementation gaps that must be addressed by government, Defence and industry in order to meet the SICPs, including necessary investment in Australian industry.
