Someone, somewhere, knows something. Almost 38,000 missing people are reported to police every year in Australia; that’s one every 14 minutes. Some do not return home. For their families, it’s a never-ending nightmare. For police, the search for answers can sometimes last for decades.

The Missing Australia exists to change this. Presented by former police officer Meni Caroutas, it aims to break new ground on these cold cases – because there’s always someone out there who knows what happened to a missing person.

The challenge is to find them.

Compassionate and Thorough

I am grateful that these cases are being highlighted and investigated.
I understand the huge workload of the police force however it is disappointing to hear the lack of resources provided, particularly in the early days of so many disappearances.
Thanks for the good work!

Missing

Really enjoying this podcast. It’s interesting, Meni doesn’t drag it on like other podcasts I’ve listened to so I can really get into it!
My heart breaks for Amelia with her mum Lorrin missing for 10 years. I hope Amelia is able to tell her story/side one day and wonder if she has thought of a private investigator looking at the case?

Great Podcast

I love this podcast. The stories are told with compassion and utmost respect for the missing people and their families.
