Missing info

The information presented doesn’t seem very comprehensive and the listener is not provided any interpretation or asked to question the information. For instance - why was Lynn so angry at the campers? If he was worried why not pack up and leave. His reaction seems extreme. Blaring music from his car (?) would require the car to be turned on- keys in ignition. Hill was likely to be heading to Lynn’s car to grab the keys and turn the car off. How would he have known the guns were in the front of the car? It also makes no sense that a seasoned hunter stores his guns loaded. Give Lynn’s profession revolves around risk mitigation - do you think he would store his guns loaded? It makes sense that Lynn who appeared super angry grabbed and loaded the gun and shot both the campers in a dispute over the loud music & threats to report the drone footage. Lynn’s story makes no sense and he appears to be lying. It would be great if you asked these questions during the podcast.

Interesting but annoying

Not a bad podcast but 3 things that are very annoying 1. The long intro 2. The incessant reference to it not being the real participants voices - we get it. One disclaimer at the start will do. This drives me bonkers. 3. There is no insight offered. We can all read a transcript. There is no comment on witness demeanour or court room dynamics. I think most people could do a better job.

So bad

I really wanted all the details on this case, and am so disappointed. I could ignore the butchering of English if the content was decent, but it’s so incoherent! I just listened to several minutes of the defence drilling a witness about “vacuum theory”, but there was no explanation of why vacuum theory was significant to begin with?! I rewound because I thought I must have I missed. Nope. They’re doing such a poor job of piecing together the narrative. But don’t worry, halfway into episode seven, they’ll remind you that Gregory Lynn was charged with the murders of Russell Hill & Carol Clay and has pleaded not guilty, just in case you didn’t know what the podcast was about! What was the timeline? How long were they missing before Russel’s wife reported him missing? You also said she reported Carol missing also, this doesn’t make sense given she didn’t know Carol had gone. Who reported Carol missing and when? Who told police they were together? So many missing details. Frustratingly bad.
