Fan from Aussie ,

Thanks for the pod guys!

After I watch a movie, I’m always curious to hear what other Black people think of it so I’m grateful to have found the pod and have been bingeing it over the last couple of weeks. You guys always make me laugh and Jerah I’m with you on Hidden Figures lol - looking forward to more episodes!

Very necessary

I was turned onto the pod by an Aussie film review pod total reboot and it has not disappointed. I’m slowly working my way through the episodes now and so glad to have found it!
Please review Jackie Brown or as it’s called my my house due to my dyslexia, Brackie Jrown 🙄

Lemme speak to the podcast for a sec

I found this podcast only about 5 weeks ago and I’ve already listened to almost every episode! (Don’t ask me how I’m passing my university exams)
Most entertaining film podcast by far... their laughs are so contagious that I had to save episodes to listen to in my room so people won’t stare at me laughing like a maniac in public at perfect swirls and Hancock Cinematic Universe links.

Every episode is gold, even if you haven’t watched the movie, they make it easy to follow and hilarious too. They leave no representation stone unturned, the good movies and the bad. Princess and the Frog got me F’d up and Shark Tale (as my first episode) had me in stitches.
As a South Asian woman, it makes me so happy hearing representation for people of colour in movies, and as a film buff and advocate for POC rep this podcast is the thing that gets me up in the morning! Just a shame that it HAS TO END. You got a brown fist from Australia fellas! Keep up the good work, I’ll always be a fan!
