In the world of assassins, tattooed phone operators and bullet ballet, John Wick may be the boogyman, but he may also be a demi-god of death.



The fourth film in a series rarely is as good as the preceding entries (looking at you Toy Story 4 and Matrix 4) so lets see if the John Wick Universe (the Wickiverse?) has the supernatural longevity of its leading man.



Dion, Jill and Quinny are spending their golden assassin coins on trying to convince Peta to light the candle with this fourth Wick.

The first Shazam was a fun, exciting, youth-focused adventure in a corner of the DC universe that felt mostly at arms-length from the rest of the DC characters and their grim-dark-world problems. But now in the wake of the Snyder Cut Justice League release and the Black Adam fiasco, it finds itself sitting awkwardly amongst the rubble of a franchise. Is the charm of the first film enough to win it some friends?  Or will it just fall victim to the ravages of superhero fatigue?



We have a lot of opinions about this film and they are contained herein; for better or worse. Jill, Dion and Quinny all are shouting "Shazam" as loudly as possible, but so far, no lightning bolt has come to save them from this film, or put them out of their misery.

The Last of Us started life as the unconventional follow up game from Naughty Dog; the studio that created Uncharted. But Instead of making a game with even more action set pieces and explosions, Director Neil Druckmann decided to take aim at an emotional tale of loss, survival and love set against the backdrop of a fungal outbreak of apocalyptic proportions. Since its release nearly a decade ago fans have adored the characters of Ellie and Joel and revelled in their ethically murky story. And two years ago they even got a sequel which divided fans and muddied the waters even further. Now with Chernobyl's showrunner Craig Mazin and HBO's backing, The Last of Us has made an incredibly successful leap to the small screen, and a whole new audience of fans are being introduced to Ellie (Bella Ramsay), Joel (Pedro Pascal)and lead by the hand into the morally grey world of Clickers, cordyceps, cannibals and hardcore emotional damage.



We have partnered up into two Ellie/Joel happy-meal combos for our journeys across the wasteland, with Dion and Peta going by horse and Jill and Quinny going on foot. It's a long journey but when you're lost in darkness... Look for the light.

Get in the ring and get ready for us to punch out a review of the trilogy ending Creed 3. Following the ongoing story of Adonis Creed (Michael B Jordan), son of Rocky Balboa's respected opponent Apollo Creed, as he faces off against a childhood friend Damian (Jonathan Majors) who has done nearly 20 years in prison and has a lifetime of hardship to repay. Jill and Quinny got to see the film at the premiere screening thanks to Universal Pictures and Dion is our unwitting mark as we try to sell him on what makes Creed 3 worth watching!

We are delving deep DEEP down into the Quantum realm for this weeks podcast on Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. "What is Quantumania?" we hear you cry? God only knows!
