    37. My First Experience with Solo Travel

In this episode of The RED Tales by Modibodi, we sit down with solo traveller, Lucy Allen to discuss why solo travel is a great experience, how to organise a trip and the importance of feeling discomfort.

    36. My First Experience with Grief

Grief is one of the most universal human experiences in the world. Whether you’ve felt the loss of a parent, a pet, or even just seen it in films, there’s no denying that grief can be a hard and taboo topic to deal with.
Working in the social care sector, today’s guest Amanzi Lawrence understands the feeling all too well. In this episode of The RED Tales by Modibodi, Amanzi discusses her first experience of grief, how to support someone going through a hard time and how she deals with it in her professional life.

    35. My First Experience Third Wheeling

    35. My First Experience Third Wheeling

Have you ever hung out with a couple? Or two really close friends? Feeling like the third wheel can be a super awkward emotion. From assuming you’re a burden to questioning your friendships, third wheeling is a tough one to navigate.
Laneikka Denne knows the squeamish feeling all too well. While always playing the friendship ‘matchmaker’ she’d often find herself on the outskirts, even after being the reason the exclusionary pair are friends in the first place.
In this ep, Laneikka shares her own story of not only feeling like a spare part but how she tries to avoid creating that emotion in others.

    34. My First Experience with Self-Awareness

From bad experiences, good lessons grow. After dealing with school bullies and feeling nervous to be herself, Mandy Dante decided she wanted to help other girls and non-binary people through their teenage years; so no-one else would feel alone.
Now, Mandy is the co-founder of Flourish Girl, a charity that’s helping teenagers to build their self-awareness, self-confidence and social skills.
In this ep, Mandy gives her tips on becoming a more self-aware person, and the importance of building safe spaces to help young people flourish into their best selves.

    33. My First Lesson In Loving My Femininity

    33. My First Lesson In Loving My Femininity

Gender has never been more fluid than it is now. From discovering our sexuality, to defining our identities and pronouns, society is slowly (but surely) breaking down the binary codes that humans have been placed under for so long.
With this new era of acceptance, we can begin to open up conversations around our bodies and how we want to make our way in the world. In this episode of The RED Tales, we chat with Chloe Watts, a young woman diagnosed with Turner syndrome. Through her diagnosis and medical experience, Chloe is reevaluating what femininity and identifying as a woman actually means to her.

    32. My First Experience with Consent

    32. My First Experience with Consent

Most of us are taught consent as children. You learn that you have to ask to play with your sibling’s toy. That you can’t eat chocolate without your mum’s permission. That you have to ask your friends if you can visit.
But what happens when we get older? As we begin to navigate sexual relationships as young adults, consent isn’t something that is widely spoken about.
In this episode, we sit down with Angie Wan, co-founder of Consent Labs. Angie is part of a team travelling to schools and universities to raise awareness around consent, sexual harassment and assault. Because we should all be asking for consent… no matter the context.
