Mineralized Soil with Sean Murphy | ScapeFu058

Mineralized Soil with Sean Murphy | ScapeFu058

Sean Murphy is the first to use mineralized soil in planted aquariums intentionally. Mineralized soil retains all of the beneficial nutrients but removes almost 100% of the organics that regular soil has. This minimizes the changes of algae while still providing your plants with the nutrition they need.

    Items mentioned:

Aaron Talbot's write up about Mineralized Soil and Sean's recipe at APC
    GWAPA site
    Dupla

Great Podcast

I'm loving this podcast.
Having had a few planted tanks in the past, and now looking at setting one up again in the near future, This show has already given me a lot of tips and information about topics that I wasn't very well informed on.
A must listen for aquascapers of any skill level.
