In The Spin-off REALWORK founder Fleur Emery and podcast producer Annabelle 'Buckers' Buckland follow up their award winning show The REALWORK Podcast with a spin-off tackling their experiences as women with ADHD.
Recently diagnosed (very recently in Fleur's case) this series of eye-wateringly frank and un-filtered conversations is lively, hilarious, poignant and covers everything from the how to control your psychiatrist, over-medicated housework binges and being undateable (spoiler: it's different for girls).
No we are not medical professionals and yes we have opinions.

Ep 05: When the novelty of diagnosis wears off...
This week Fleur falls into a the pit of despair after realising that knowing that you have ADHD doesn't actually make it go away. Today's episode how close Fleur came to marrying into the Spanish royal family (closer than you might think) whether Buckers is ready to remove the stabilisers on her bike (her actual not metaphorical bike and not quite) and what the inclusion of a fly in the art of the 16th century symbolised.

Today we strip it all off then wander out into the metaphorical street and chat to passers-by. The terrain of romance, dating and being left on the shelf all gets investigated thoroughly while Buckers drops in a casual reference to a problematic department-store-based sit-com from the 1980s, mistakes Michael Caine for Clint Eastwood and gives us some insight into the playlist on Radio Buckers. This week we dig deep into the thorny question, 'Is ADHD a real thing or are we all just waking up in the middle of a bad dream?'.
Definitely don't listen to this episode with your kids as although we don't use crass language we snigger about some niche sexual activities between assessing who benefits from the increasing diagnosing levels in kids and finding out what tat Buckers' shopping compulsion lead to her buying in the middle of the night. -
Ep 01: The Pilot; hula-hooping, walking in graveyards and coming top in ADHD.
In this episode get to know hosts Fleur and Buckers as they talk about the various life events that lead them to seek diagnosis for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. At the time of recording Fleur was one day post diagnosis and still very much being mentally over-ruled by her inner-misogynist, Hugh from Fulham and looking to Buckers for answers.
If you are more familiar with the condition than the presenters at this point sit back and play ADHD bingo as they unwittingly demonstrate some of the more common traits of the condition including over-sharing, interrupting each other and losing track of what they are talking about.
