Comedian and Nurse Georgie Carroll digs around infectious nurses folds to see what they are packing, hopefully it's viral.
EP 28 Bradly Chesham: SEASON FINALE A LIFE LESS ORDINARY
Bradley Chesham lays in a hammock post night shift and sips whiskey. There are Monkeys, Taliban, virtual reality nursing and Prince Harry in this one. Not to be missed.
EP:27 Hayley Quinn proudly supported by Father Andrew: THE BABE WITH THE POWER
Emergency Clinical Nurse Specialist Hayley and her Dad Andrew Clinical care Helicopter paramedic love emergencies so much that they decided to have their own, lining the hospital corridors with all the emergency services awaiting news. A great reminder to always wear good undies incase your mates needs to cut your pants off.
EP:26 Nicole Nash Arnold: HOW TO BOSS.
What's it like to performance manage someone twice your age and experience? How do you handle multi-million dollar life or death budgets in your 20s? Why would anyone want to be a manager? Nicole Nash Arnold has spent of her career working that shit out and she's going to pull Nurse Georgie in the office to tell her all about it.
EP:25 Drew Price: $3000 STETHOSPSCOPE.
Nurse Georgie Carroll talks loud with Student Nurse Drew Price. Not often we get a student on here but with Drew being hearing impaired and trans he has some pretty funny experiences to share that some of us don't get after even 30 years in the game. Drew is unstoppable and even has his eye on a Nursing job that doesn't exist yet. Top shelf dolphin this one.
EP:24 Nic Rooney: ONE BORN EVERY MINUTE (NEARLY)
Nurse Georgie talks to Nic Rooney about her ridiculous decision to swap power dressing for power pushes. We all cry at one born every minute but we don't all quit a corporate cocktail lifestyle to retrain as a midwife, especially not while you single mom 4 under 12.
EP:23 Rachael Attiwill: RING MY BELL
Nurse Georgie and breast Cancer blogger Rachael Attiwill say fuck cancer so many times that it actually does! OK, perhaps Oncologists, chemo nurses and Rachael laughing at it did more of the heavy lifting than cursing but the odd swear word certainly helped.
I so enjoy listening to this podcast driving to work. At times I have been laughing so much that I nearly crash so, I do have to remember not to laugh so much.
This is the best!
This is such a real life hysterical podcast about nursing. I am laughing my way through it. So far I’m listening to Katie East and I just love you both! I am sure I will love everyone. I love the down to earth no filtered conversations. Nothing too clinical and educatey which is nice for a change and it’s just great!
I’m a (old version) nurse doing an MSF mission in Yemen. Was supposed to go home 6 weeks ago but thanks to Covid19 I am now stuck here indefinitely. You’re podcasts have kept my sanity while I’ve been stuck here. I have a good old laugh on the treadmill. Thank you so much, hope to see you in person one day if I ever get out of here! 😊
