    In the final ever Unshackled Waves episode I reflect on the journey this show has been on. It launched in November 2016 to be begin the audio visual stage of the Unshackled project. It started as audio only podcast, then a basic video version was launched, followed later on by the introduction of video graphics. In 2018 we moved into our current Waves set in our dedicated studio which we still use to this day. Waves being my first foray into broadcast media, the format has changed over the years as I’ve experimented with different episode types. The aim was always to provide both comment and analysis of current news events and also to interview like minded people. We’ve had a wide variety of guests from law academics, popular YouTubers, patriot activists, psychology professionals and policy experts. The popularity of the show has grown on every platform, most noticeably on YouTube. Thank-you to all our loyal followers who’ve joins us over the years and value the contribution we have made to the alt-media scene in Australia. I am not disappearing from the alt-media scene, far from it, starting this Sunday 15th September I am launching a brand new fast paced live news and information show called WilmsFront. It will be broadcast Sunday, Wednesday and Friday nights at around 7pm Melbourne time on my own personal YouTube channel and rationalrise.tv, plus on your preferred podcasting platform.  The news cycle is constantly changing and evolving every hour of every day. Waves most of the time was prerecord and either focused on single issues or three or more at most. But by the time episodes were edit and released the news cycle had already changed. WilmsFront being live will provide immediate analysis of global events as they break. To further reflect on the Waves journey these past three years and for final farewell, I chat with two co-hosts of show during its run. Jacob Watts was The Unshackled’s Editor at Large from 2017 to early 2018 and co-hosted this show during that period.     Hong Kong the Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China has seen 13 consecutive weeks of protests to preserve the regions democracy and civil rights.  These protests were set off by opposition to a proposed extradition bill which had the potential to see residents of Hong Kong face the mainland Chinese government’s legal system. Last Wednesday evening the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Carrie Lam announced she was withdrawing the extradition bill. The Hong Kong-China dispute has spilled over into Australian cities. Not just because of our high Chinese immigrant population but because of activities and espionage the Chinese Communist Party engages in Australia. Pro Hong Kong protests have been flooded by pro-China activists, with some turning violent. It is concerning that we are supposed to be all Australians yet we are increasingly seeing another state, a totalitarian one as well infiltrate our population and politics. Last month Liberal backbencher Andrew Hastie wrote an op-ed in the Fairfax newspapers outlining why China’s global ambitions threaten Australia’s future.  We have seen our politicians come under the influence of Chinese Communist Party agents, normally businessmen in recent times. The most famous of course was former Labor Senator Sam Dastyari. His NSW Labor Party was exposed at the Independent Commission Against Corruption of accepting an illegal $100,00 donation from Chinese business Huang Xiangmao who has been banned from Australia The ABC has revealed that the two Chinese-Australian candidates for the inner Melbourne seat of Chisholm at the just passed federal election, the Liberals Gladys Lui, the now elected MP for the seat, and her Labor opponent Jennifer Yang were both members of a Chinese association that upon investigation ultimately had links to the Chinese government. Australia is in the middle of a shit sandwich as we depend on China significantly when it comes to trade. Our leaders have kicked the can down the road with China, but are now slowly getting their heads out of the sand. They know something must be done, but have no idea what? To gain and greater understand of how deep the Chinese communist party influence is in Australia, plus the various human rights abuses they are committing on their own people is Shan Ju Lin. She is from Taiwan which China would like to annex. Shan ran in the Queensland state election in 2017 as an independent candidate for the seat of Bundamba in her town of Ipswich. She is known throughout her area for holding the annual World Harmony Day. She’s been on the show before, given unique insight I thought she would be the perfect person to go to discuss the current China crisis in Australia.     Last year the world gained another bombastic populist and nationalist world leader who sent the political elities into another tailspin. In Brazil’s 2018 Presidential election Jair Bolsonaro a well-known political maverick beat 11 other candidates breaking centre-left’s grip on the nation’s politics Bolsonaro was labelled a fascist by the left and international media, in Brazil so far during his Presidency he has introduced free market reforms, reducing the size of the state, rolling back the influence of cultural Marxism on the nation and empowering individual Brazilians. While Bolsonaro was attendance at the G7 late last month in France he copped a serve from President Emmanuel Macron due to the annual wildfires in the Amazon rainforest, Marcon said this was a global environmental issue as the amazon was the lungs of the world. Bolsonaro rebuffed any threat foreign interference over Brazil’s sovereignty over the rainforest calling it colonialism and imperialism.  The western media in response posted endless hysterical fake news stories claiming that the Amazon was going to be completely destroy, and that Bolsonaro was basically an environment criminal. Brazil being a Latin American nation with Portuguese its local language it is very difficult for those in the west to know the real story about Bolsonaro’s revolution in Brazil and how he is transforming the nation. A friend of The Unshackled who can tell the real story about Brazil’s new beginning under Jair Bolsonaro is Professor Augusto Zimmermann. He was born and grew up in Brazil but is most known in Australia for his distinguished legal academic career. He is currently a Professor and Dean of Law at Sheridan College in a Christian Liberal Arts college in Perth, Western Australia.  He is also Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney’s campus, a catholic university. He has previously been a Law Reform Commissioner with the Law Reform Commission of Western Australian and a former Associate Dean (Research) and Postgraduate Research Director at Murdoch University's School of Law. Professor Zimmermann is also the founder and President of the Western Australian Legal Theory Association (WALTA), a former Vice-President of the Australian Society of Legal Philosophy (ASLP), a Fellow at the International Academy for the Study of the Jurisprudence of the Family, and Editor-in-Chief of the Western Australian Jurist law journal. He is regular columnist in the Australian media in the spectator, quadrant online, news weekly as well as on theunshackled.net. He has also authored four academic books including No Offence Intended: Why 18C is Wrong along with Joshua Forrester. Lorraine Finlay. Plus three volumes of Christian Foundations of the Common Law all published by Connor Court Publishing. Augusto Zimmerman explains Brazil before Bolsonaro which is gripped by corruption and socialism. With Bolsonaro in office the ordinary Brazilians have hope again and want to be free.     One of the patriot organisations The Unshackled has covered extensively is the Proud Boys. It was founded in 2016 by alt-media personality Gavin McInnes to be a western fraternal men’s organisation. The Proud Boys have been the main target of Antifa violence and media slander in the United States. They are a worldwide fraternity which has chapters here in Australia. The Proud Boys were deplatformed from social media after the Proud Boys in New York were subjected to political persecution after a confrontation with Antifa at the end of 2018. Gavin McInnes stepped down to protect the Proud Boys who had been charged in New York. The Proud Boys Elders elected as their new Chairman Enrique Tarrio. He’s a Cuban American businessman from Miami, Florida who grew up in Little Havana. He has overseen the Proud Boys return to full strength and resume their political activism on the streets. Lately the Proud Boys have held two rallies in the city of Portland, Oregon in an effort to draw attention to the fact that this is where Antifa was formed and where it plans its domestic terror activities. President Trump is now looking into designating Antifa an organisation of terror.     The United States has become known worldwide for its high frequency of mass shootings. These are defined as public gun violence which kills four or more victims.  In 2019 at the time of this episode, there have been 248 mass shootings in the nation, the two most recent high profile ones were in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio on August 3.  The aftermath of these shootings has seen a renewed push for legislative gun control across the nation. With 393 million guns in the US civilian population gun control measures have largely been rejected.  With the El Paso shooter motivated by wanting to stop Hispanics entering the United States, that added to other previous racially motivated mass shootings, white supremacist domestic terrorism has been labelled another cause of mass shootings. There has been with demands for a crackdown on those with such “alleged views” and calls for censorship of the internet.  Is the frequency of mass shootings in the United States reaching epidemic levels? What are the real causes? What can practically be done at the legislative to address gun violence?  To find out I speak to a real American and gun owner Michael Jacobsen. He lives in Louisiana and runs the libertarian blog the Uncensored Truth which comments on the real impact of stories in the mainstream media.     19 year old Samraat Joshua Grewal who's previously been a contributor to the Unshackled led a motion at a state council meeting on Saturday 1st June to dismiss the Board of the party. He was assisted by 22-year-old Joel Jammal who is a contributor to Carnage House Productions.  Samraat’s motion was successful though Party President Ross Clifford claimed he’d adjured the meeting and the vote was invalid. A two-month legal dispute ensured with a revote occurring at another state meeting on Saturday 10th August with a vote of no confidence in the board being overwhelming defeated 80-12. It was an extremely bold move for two youths to try and overthrown Fred Nile who founded the first incarnation of the Christian Democrats in 1977 and was first elected to the NSW parliament in 1981. The party failed to retain a seat in the NSW parliament for the first time in its history in the 2019 state election. With the minor party field becoming increasingly crowded certainly the Christian Democrats needed to regroup and explore the best way to go forward. But was such an extreme course of action, removing the party of its most experienced political operatives, coming from members so young and inexperienced the way to do it? Samraat and Joel are my guests today where I will ask them reflect on their chosen course of action, their strategy throughout the turmoil, and what their political plans are for the future.     A special live episode where I comment on everything we know so far on the death of pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. It has been the news of the world this past 24 hours with nobody believing he committed suicide, instead murdered by those with a lot to lose if he ever revealed his co-conspirators. Attention online immediately turned to the Clintons with the Clinton Body Count trending on Twitter. So many of the Clinton’s associates who have had incriminating evidence on them over the year have mysteriously died. Social media sites have been slowly cleansing their platforms of any chatter about this. With the public all too aware about Epstein’s child sex trafficking and the light sentence he was given in 2008 the elites now know the game is up. Prominent politicians have called for official investigations and inquiries into how someone apparently on suicide watch can commit suicide and how the CCTV can allegedly malfunction. With the power of the internet, allowing people to investigate public matters themselves, the mainstream media has lost control of the news cycle. Hence why they now claim that alleged conspiracy theories are a terrorist treat. But the masses can no longer be programmed.
