At the heart of the aged care sector is the experiences and quality of life of older Australians. Unique to this sector is that governing bodies and leaders in the sector all share a common goal, to deliver high quality, safe and sustainable care. This podcast, will feature the voice of aged care consumers and advocates to hear about what person centred care really means and how governing bodies can lead organisations that embed the consumer at the heart of systems and processes. 
This episode features Judith Leeson AM, to discuss her experiences as an aged care consumer, her work as an advocate and her messages to prepare for the future of aged care. 
Judith has undertaken leadership roles for over six decades in early childhood education, early intervention for children with disabilities, and career development. With over thirty years’ self-employment as founding Director of Vector Consultants, Judith continues to empower marginalised and disenfranchised individuals and groups of all ages and stages of career development to identify and achieve their career aspirations and participate in a productive and inclusive society.
