The Weekly Rub Down - A Waiver Wire You Wouldn’t add..
The Weekly Rub Down Podcast hails from a world where the beers are hot and the meat pies are cold. Their 'hot tips' are as lukewarm as your grandma's denture water, and their SuperCoach stats are about as potent as a 2023 Bud Light commercial. Natty and Wuka, (who’s names could be mistaken for characters from a Star Wars movie) are the epitome of what happens when you mix too much confidence, with not enough supervision. 5 Turbo-Charged stars.
Who else are you going to listen to?
Sure you’re not going to hear the dulcet tones of a Wilfred Z with his contagious enthusiasm and hilarious anecdotes, nor the slovenly “Skip Bayliss” hot takes of the SC Whisperer….. but you are after NRL Supercoach Draft content after all. Yes Wuka the Weasel does occasionally glitch out like a robot with a liquid damaged CPU. Blame Natty the drunkard, he probably spilled a Mark Tinichiello on Wuka while rubbing one to Blake Lawrie 8 meter hit up highlights. But who else are you going to listen to for Draft??? …the Guru?!? Hahahaha that’s funny! That Gorgeous George Rose look a like can’t hold a candle to these two cretins. The Rubbers: “Keep your head on a swivel” The Guru: Wobbles his head more than Mahatma Cote. The Rubbers: “Be like water” The Guru: Built like a waterbed. The Rubbers won’t waste your time like the Guru’s 23 minute solo podcast on Reed Mahoney having the best pass in rugby league. Short, sharp, focused information only. I’m off to listen to The Weekly Rub Down’s latest, 2hrs and 1 minute on …… 5/8 …… oh dear.
