Theresa Brown - Permaculture and the Power of Community Gardens

Theresa Brown is a powerhouse in this community! We cover everything from what permaculture is, how it fits into the new design model, creating community gardens for those in need of food support and so much more! Absolutely fabulous conversation.

Theresa has been gardening in Alaska for 20 years. She previously worked for Bioneers of Alaska where she was first introduced to the concept of permaculture. Went on to get certified in permaculture and helped start the Anchorage Permaculture Guild and Anchor Gardens. She’s also the Organic Gardening Coordinator for Yardacopia a program of Alaska Community Action on Toxics.
