Associate Professor Philip Russo is an internationally regarded expert in healthcare associated infection prevention. Phil is Director of Nursing Research, Cabrini Health and Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash Nursing and Midwifery, President of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control (ACIPC), the peak body for Infection Prevention and Control professionals in the Australasian region.

Importantly for us Phil is also a member of the Infection Control Expert Group (COVID-19) and the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce Steering Committee. We talk to Phil about COVID-19 and his thoughts on ED pandemic preparations across Australasia and some advice for the comings months and years.
