EP: 250 - Reader Question - Do non drinkers experience the same optimism as someone who goes alcohol free?

People who’ve removed alcohol from their lives rave about the joy and happiness they feel, even those who’ve been alcohol-free for years and years. “Do non-drinkers experience this same optimism or do they just recognize it as normal?" What is it that makes life so different for people who’ve stopped drinking? Is it possible for those who’ve never consumed alcohol to feel the same way?

Is that normal? What do you do? What do you do when you start thinking about moderation? Can the tools you use to remove alcohol from your life also help with weight loss and other changes?

Inspiring and educational

I’m absolutely loving this podcast. What I love is that it’s a mix of interviews, facts and people telling their own stories. So inspiring and educational.

Episode 189

I love this one because I’ve done all the things she did and told myself all the lies she told herself. I’ve had the conversation in my head of ‘go to bed so I can finish the bottle’ and pretended I threw it out! So good to know this is quite normal behaviour for those of us struggling with this crappy habit.

Thanks so much

Thanks Annie

The kind of podcast that helps you feel less alone, and that people of many ages can suffer from alcohol dependence. Thank you Annie!
