Confessions of a Superhero, with David Harbour!
The one and only David Harbour (Stranger Things, We Have A Ghost) joins Tig and Cheryl this week to talk about one of his favorite docs, "Confessions of a Superhero." Tig and Cheryl get a chance to tell all their old stories (bluebell!) to a new listener, plus David shares some stories of his own about portraying "Hellboy" in the movie "Hellboy"! Boy is it a hell of an episode, ladies and jerks!

Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal
Tig and Cheryl take on Netflix's "Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal," a firsthand accounting of the criminal events surrounding the wealthy and troubled South Carolina family. It's a serious doc, but there's also some room for levity, as Cheryl reveals a nickname from her past, Tig defines "meatstick," and Thomas answers some questions about a "baby photo" of sorts!

Thank you!!
I have a very busy stressful job… I’ve been working in vaccine manufacturing for the majority of the pandemic and it has been hectic. I find it hard to unwind on the weekends and stop myself thinking about work.
Listening to Tig and Cheryl while I’m tick tackin’ around the house or having a wine has been the best thing! I can’t tell you how many days you have lifted my mood and taken me out of my own thoughts.
My husband likes the show too and both of us get around telling friends and family that they need to listen to it… we start cracking each other up by interrupting conversations with “there’s no way to know” and confusing everyone with “scram clown”. I’m yet to convert anyone but I feel confident that eventually they’ll get sick of us talking about Tig and Cheryl and get on board.
When you spend so much time working it’s nice to be able to come home, switch on a podcast and feel like you’re chatting to good friends… who are talking about a show that they mostly can’t remember watching, aren’t concerned about recounting with any accuracy and are struggling to stay on topic.
Keep up the great work!!
Thoroughly Enjoyable
I love these two, they kind of seem like an unlikely pairing, but honestly it’s just made me love Tig more and fall in love with Cheryl. They’re both adorable and down to earth and it’s lovely listening to two genuine people talk (kind of) about a doc they’ve watched. Sometimes I watch the doc first but I’ve learned it’s actually good to just listen and then decide if the doc is worth it.
Favourite podcast
Tig and Cheryl blow Karen and Georgia out of the water! Best podcast ever. Only problem is there’s not enough of it. Makes any boring task a lot more enjoyable. Nothing like a night in, puddering around the house with your headphones on and laughing to yourself. Thanks Tig and Sheryl!
