Having suffered silently with depression for a number of years I found the best way out was by looking in. So began a quest to improve my mental state through consistent action, habit changes and science. By the latter I don't mean I started cooking meth.
I'm interested in people, their passions and what daily habits they use to ensure
a balanced mental health. My conversations are light hearted, but often shine a light on insightful tools and behaviours that we can all learn from. I combine my friends' knowledge with my own experiences to help others in helping themselves.
You may find some swearing in these podcasts, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum. Don't say I didn't warn you. Enjoy :)
Mr Samuel Hockey Part One
My first interview of 2019 is with Mr Samuel Hockey. A designer and former National Mental Health Commissioner, Samuel has a huge experience within the mental health world.
This is part one of two as we had so much that we covered. Keep an eye on www.tomalfry.com or @thenoisymind3po on Instagram for the next part!
Mr Jonathon Levy
Mr Jonathon "Jono" Levy joins me for my first epidode of Season Two. It's been a year since the last interview, so it was time to make a comeback!
I had a great time getting to know Jonathon a bit more. We've been friends for a short time, but I always enjoy the conversations we have, so I knew this would be a good interview.
He came up with some great points and uses some simple but excellent tools to help manage stress. Enjoy listening!

Miss Rhiannon Noon #24
I had a great conversation with Rhiannon about her past, the tools she uses to maintain good mental health and her passion of film production. There are some great tools in her for mindfulness and stress control, from lego to colouring and more. I am looking forward to the next catchup with Rhiannon in the near future.
MIss Linda Ekpo #23
Before Linda left Sydney to return to Dallas, Texas I got to interview her. In fact we interviewed each other. What follows is a really enjoyable and insightful conversation with a powerful woman. I'm looking forward to seeing the great things that Linda does, but until then we can enjoy getting to know her a little better. After this you may also know me better too, perhaps a little too much detail though. I'm not sorry ;)
Miss Cat Haggerty Part Deux #22
After our first chat we delved a little deeper into Cat's past and whilst swapping teas talked about the benefits of past negative experiences. Always a pleasure talking to Cat and learning a little more about her past and the tools she uses to look after her mental and physical health.
