Transcendental Kink is a series of conversations and solo episodes exploring the spiritual experience in kink practice.I am RednBlack, Red for short. I identify as a dominant woman, a sadist, body positive and a lover of service and pampering. Active in the Melbourne scene since 2007. Founder of Splinter skillshares, and co – founder with my lovely partner Kzinti of Splinter the venue, a researcher of spirituality and a shamanic healer.On a physical level I started out as a rope top and impact player and then gradually fell in love with medical play. On a mental level I am an old school dominant. I love rituals, protocols and excellent service. All these activities are brought together and elevated by the spiritual connection between myself and my partners and also between each of us with their own spiritual being. For me transcendental kink is another form of spiritual practice, one that transports the participants from normal day to day reality into an alternative one. It is also a signpost for contemplation and growth. It is a natural path for spiritually inclined pragmatics searching for purpose. I am fascinated by the similarities and differences between transcendence through kink and other forms of spiritual practice - the ways we experience and explain our journeys to transcendence in our kink communities.
