Love it
This podcast is a fascinating and informed exploration of cults, control and manipulation. The hosts Meagan and Lola are funny, intelligent and empathic. I’ve been listening from the start and really appreciate their vulnerability and authenticity. The way the topics are handled encourages you to relate to people and situations you may have thought you wouldn’t. The interviews cover a variety of topics, some of them pretty heavy, and promote critical thinking and understanding, two things we could definitely use more of!

Amazing insightful podcast
This is my absolute favourite podcast. The hosts are funny, insightful, and empathetic hosts who bring a unique perspective having both grown up within a cult environment themselves.
The podcast format is a different interview with a guest each episode, where they learn about the lived experience of former cult members, and it’s so fascinating to hear how people got in, and out of cults. Some episodes they interview experts in relevant fields, which is also fascinating. I’ve learned so much from this podcast and have learned so much about psychology and human group dynamics.
The hosts both are excellent presenters and manage to balance the seriousness of some of the heavy topics they are discussing, with some light comedic relief.
I recommend this podcast to everyone!
