Anna Marie Hahn
Anna Marie Hahn was a German immigrant who moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. She then began her addiction to not only gambling but murdering elderly men for their money. She was also known as “Arsenic Annie”. She received this nickname for her choice of murder by poisoning. She was eventually caught and put to death. The Murder of Shasta S. Dotson
For our second episode, Laura will be interviewing her mother Rhonda about the murder of her sister. Shasta Dotson was shot three times by her ex boyfriend on March 18, 1998 in the early morning hours of her work day. She worked at the Ohio Department of Taxation in Columbus, Ohio. Rhonda happened to be on the phone with her sister when this happened.
Rhonda gives her first hand account of the murder. She will also discuss how important it is to start having open conversations on domestic violence and mental health. This is Rhondas first interview regarding this tragedy and how this changed the direction of her life. -
