Something you can do for me

Something you can do for me

If I can be so bold....I wonder if you all might do me a favour, and sponsor my boss for about $1 in a big fundraising walk he is doing. Just a token amount, unless you own oil wells. (One cent will do, if the system allows it!) This might show my hospital administrators that the podcast has an audience who follow it. This episode explains all, and donations are made through https://walkforkidscancer.org.au/ . His particular spot is https://chw.grassrootz.com/bob-tug-wilson-s-walk-for-kids-with-cancer/luciano-dalla-pozza Remember to insert the note 'podcast' in the online form. Thanks!!!!!! Link to Patreon

PRISM, Molecular Profiling, and Informed Consent

A number of countries have research studies where childhood cancers are analysed in great detail, testing all the DNA in something called 'molecular profiling'. The national Australian study of this is called PRISM, and it is a very exciting project. This episode explains a molecular profiling project and covers issues of obtaining informed consent from parents and patients as well. Link to Patreon

My son was diagnosed with ALL in January 2021 and this podcast has made the journey of questions I have so much easier! We were only a few weeks in with being diagnosed when Dr Karman recommended this podcast! Im constantly listening to his podcast and have shared this with my family so we are all learning together! Thanks Dr Geoff

Thanks Dr Geoff

My daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2020. I initially felt overwhelmed, yet I knew caring for her and working with the medical team would be the most important challenge of my life. Dr Geoff’s podcasts have helped immeasurably - they’ve covered what I needed to know in a kind, understanding tone.
Thank you so much Dr Geoff! You’ve helped me to care for my daughter through understanding and for us to (gradually) heal as a family

Perfect! Wish there were more.

If you are a parent/relative/friend, new to the world children’s cancer, this series is fantastic for learning a lot more about what is going on. Listen to the episodes relevant to you, only problem is, it may leave you wanting more of them.
All the best to you and your family.
