On September 30th 1955, James Dean (Of Rebel Without A Cause Fame) died in a fatal car crash whilst driving his now famous Porsche 550 Spyder racing car on public roads. At approximately 5.45pm Dean crashed almost head on into a 1950 Ford Tudor at the junction of Route 466 and Route 41.
