    One year on......................

    One year on......................

Time flies by and here we are one year on reflecting on our adventure and our boys, Henry & Charlie, get to talk about their own experiences they had whilst travelling Australia.

We would like to thank everyone who shared the journey with us. Both those people who we met on the road and those who followed along at home. It was an experience of a lifetime.

    The Final Leg Home

After leaving the ACT and driving through every state and territory in Australia it was time to take the final drive home. Can you believe it? Only a few stops but things didn't go to plan, especially on our last night on the road.

After leaving the comforts of family in the Adelaide Hills we headed towards Mildura and the Mighty Murray. After a few wonderful days camped on this amazing river we headed towards the National Capital to buy a heater and see some flowers.

    Cousin Time in SA

After travelling halfway across Australia in less than a week we were ready to spend some time out of the car and what better way than hanging out with family in the Barossa. Wine, Chocolate and green, green grass. Oh, what a treat it was, especially that we got to stay in a real bed.

    1 Week & Half A Continent Later

We never set out to travel in this way but here we are doing it. After leaving the glorious WA Coast we headed east towards Kalgoorlie and stared into a big hole and we even got our hands dirty. However the weather changed and then we started running from the cold, half the way across the country.

Last Stop on the West Coast

After changing our travel plans and looking at the calendar we had to start getting our skates on. We zipped through Carnarvon, explored the super popular Kalbarri National Park and found beauty in Geraldton as we started preparing to head east.

GabbaBell ,

A great listen for travelling families

Have been loving listening to Jess & Ben share about their plans and realities of travelling Australia with kids. We’re in the midst of preparing for our own big lap of Oz in 2022 so I’m finding all the tips really helpful. They seem like a really lovely couple - easy-going relaxed chat with lots of laughs and insights shared. Highly recommend. Thanks for sharing guys xo

So Informative!!

Hooked! Love the range of topics discussed, from the real nitty gritty of preparing to travel, the initial transition, equipment, useful tips and then hearing about the amazing places they’ve visited! Just LOVE it! Great laid back feel too.

What happens next...?

I’m hooked, always wanting to play the next episode waiting to find out what happens next on their amazing adventure.
I absolutely love the easy going approach to their travels, apparently planning ‘on the fly’, that is so refreshing and not staged at all.
If you’re going to travel I think this is the way to go about it.
We are prepping for our round trip and found this podcast super helpful.
Peace guys
