    Good friends, good morning, I hope you have started the day with great energy. This morning we are going to talk about two thousand-year-old practices that help us improve our spirits, our attitude, our relationship with others and even health.
    The disciplines to which I refer are Yoga and Meditation, although there are people who consider both as a single activity, they are far from being one, we could even think that this happens thanks to the benefits obtained when practiced simultaneously.
    To start, let's talk about Yoga, since it seems that it has the most followers today. It is a sport, a lifestyle, a way to relax and exercise at the same time. Their styles vary from the simplest, such as stretching and simple positions accompanied by deep or rhythmic breaths. Like any discipline, yoga allows you to advance in level once we develop more skill, flexibility and consistency. The benefits vary from body health to mental health, although the latter is more related to meditation.
    As I was saying, meditation focuses mainly on a part of mental health, stillness, silence, calm and even the personal knowledge that can be reached through it, is more beneficial than any medicine. Meditation can be learned and developed as a method of personal control, regarding the attitudes we assume regarding events or people and their actions, which make up the environment. That is, personally and individually, recognizing ourselves as social beings, we must learn to relate to the environment in a positive, respectful and tolerant way. Meditation offers us a great opportunity to increase our happiness, strengthens our social relationships and can even help us with people who begin to suffer mental problems such as dementia, Alzheimer's or types of post-traumatic stress.
    In conclusion, we can recommend the practice of meditation and yoga to improve physical and mental health, always accompanied by a certified professional and very, very consistent, we could even make them part of our lifestyle.
