    94. Matt Moeller - The Saga of Sting

It’s been a little bit. Let’s talk about the Saga of Sting with Matt Moeller. Matt tells us how he identified with sting because he was bullied a bit in high school by some douchebags that liked NWO. Plus, Nick does weird demon ASMR. And Stephen and Nick trade The Police puns. We know it’s been a long time, but we can’t stand losing you, so here’s one more.

    93. Brian Rubinow - The Unprecedented “You Should HATE Wrestling” Special

    93. Brian Rubinow - The Unprecedented “You Should HATE Wrestling” Special

IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING. After nearly 100 episodes, Stephen finally gets his day in the sun where he has carte blanche to bring in a fellow hater, all in an effort to try to convince Nick and the YLSW Universe that “You Should HATE Wrestling”! To do this, he enlists the help of writer, comedian and former-fan-turned-hater Brian Rubinow (Fat Wolf Comedy, The Night Cap with Stacy Rumaker). Brian talks about the match that made him tune out: the Hell in a Cell Title vs. Career match between Triple H and Cactus Jack from WWF No Way Out 2000. Plus, in the spirit of the episode, Nick finally shows Stephen the thing he hates the most: the rightfully maligned 2002 Katie Vick saga from WWF including the full buildup, in-ring segments and the infamous, barftastic “Triple H dresses up as Kane and screws a dummy” segment. Stephen would like to note, Brian is in no way a wrestling hater. He’s a wrestling fan who didn’t like the booking of a match, which is not the same thing. 92. David Steiman - "They Live" (1988)

    92. David Steiman - "They Live" (1988)

David Steiman (director of Santa’s Slay starring Bill Goldberg) comes back to lend his filmmaking expertise in a discussion of John Carpenter's 1988 cult classic "They Live" staring Rowdy Roddy Piper. David surprised and delights the boys with his head to toe Rowdy Roddy Piper costume he wore to the recording. And the crew breaks down the cult status film, including where it shines, and where it comes up short. And, as always David brings some thoughtful insight into the filmmaking process, noticing some crafty budget moves made in the direction of "They Live." And, as always Nick and Stephen deliver their typical non-sense including a sandwich on a pole conversation, leading us all back to the question we asked David months ago, have you gone to The Stuffed Sandwich located in San Gabriel, CA? What does he say? Listen to find out.

    91. Mike Rose - You Should Love “Rowdy” Roddy Piper

This week, the boys welcome writer and performer Mike Rose (Daughters of Triton, Sketch That Tune) to the show to take a look back at the legendary career of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper! Stephen gets a full dose of the Hot Rod as topics include the Rowdy One’s early days in Canada, famous Piper’s Pit segments, his quotable quotes, the fight scene from They Live and his match against Bret Hart at WrestleMania 8 for the WWF Intercontinental Championship - an event that Mike attended live as a kid. Also, everyone discusses Piper’s later days, from his time in WCW to his return to WWE in-ring action, his 2006 Tag Team title win with Ric Flair, “Legends House” and much more. Plus, tons of babbling impressions of Columbus’s own jobber Frank Williams and Nick goes out of his way to shoot on Ohio.

    90. Ben Parks - Karl Malone & Diamond Dallas Page vs. Dennis Rodman & Hulk Hogan at WCW Bash at the Beach 1998

This week, the boys welcome actor and brand new father Ben Parks (Funny Or Die, Fat Guys in the Woods) to the show to talk all about the 1998 WCW storylines featuring NBA superstars Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman, including their rather disappointing multi-man match at Bash at the Beach 98. Also, discussions about pro athletes in wrestling, crossover appeal, Hulk Hogan, DDP, David Arquette and much more. Then, the boys finally confront Ben face-to-face about the box of Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Roasts“Au Fudge Chaud” coffee that he gifted the show months ago, all while the aroma of the terrible murky brown water haunts Stephen’s apartment. Plus, Stephen reveals his confounding lack of knowledge of the Sadie Hawkin’s dance, which completely stuns Nick.
