Episode 6 Broadcasters Pod: F*ck that hurt. Candice Goudie talks coming back from a life-threatening accident

Episode 6 Broadcasters Pod: F*ck that hurt. Candice Goudie talks coming back from a life-threatening accident

We sit down with Candice Goudie to talk about her major dirt-biking accident from two decades ago, and the physical and mental recovery that followed. She shares her philosophy on positive thinking (and its limits), cautious recklessness, and the impacts of her accident many years later.

Candice is a bad-ass working Mom to two beauty kids (we'll chat about if they're allowed to dirt bike now), the youngest Executive Director in the history of big organizations, and the owner of approximately 39 pounds of gorgeous locks that are allegedly all her own.

Candice was born and raised in Calgary and completed schooling at Mount Royal University in public relations. Candice is a well-known presence in sports interviews, charity events, radio shows and podcasts - including this one.

The Flames Foundation, her work and passion, is the charitable arm of the Calgary Flames that supports an astounding number of programs and has injected over $50 million of funding into southern Alberta communities.
