    3420 Do Whatever It Takes

How many times do our days get stepped on with destructive words and mannerisms, crushing any sparkle of hope? Even though you cannot control what happens around you, respond in a manner and do whatever it takes. When you have breath every morning, you have the gift of life to impact the world you touch.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
That world might be your kiddos, your spouse, your colleagues, your neighbors, a stranger in the grocery store.
But unfortunately, we get stuck in what should have happened. "If only" are not the way to lead your every day.
You get to shape what your day can become. You get to dance with your day that lights up your heart and impacts those around you.
    You matter!
And maybe you haven't heard that lately. No matter your labels (mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, president, CFO), you matter.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Do whatever it takes! Your crossroads don't have to be filled with ditches that have you sinking all the time. In fact, you need to look at those ditches and see how you can best respond to them. (And sometimes, not at all.)
Pick up a shovel and start filling in the dirt. YES! -- Do the work that no one else wants to. Learn more than you complain. Stop sitting side-saddle hoping someone else will figure it out for you.
You've got what it takes to do whatever it takes!
Oh-- And with the shovel, let some of your doubt and misery be buried too. No one needs extra helpings of doubt and uncertainty.
    You are made for more!
So if you're dealt more, rise up faster and stronger. Leave the complaints for someone else. You don't got time for this.
And just because you got it wrong, does not mean you will never get it right. Keep going! Keep after what matters.
    Do whatever it takes!

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3419 Is There Such A Thing As Guilt-Free Eating?

3419 Is There Such A Thing As Guilt-Free Eating?

Are you tired of feeling guilty whenever you reach for a tasty treat or indulge in your favorite comfort food? Imagine enjoying food without all the guilt. Or is there such a thing as guilt-free eating? What if you could enjoy food while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle? Maybe guilt-free eating is the answer – the secret to savoring every bite without compromising your well-being.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
Gone are the days of restrictive diets and constant calorie counting. Guilt-free eating is all about finding balance, making mindful choices, and treating yourself in a way that aligns with your health goals. It's about nourishing your body and soul without any feelings of regret or deprivation.
But does it really work? The answer is a resounding yes. By embracing guilt-free eating, you not only free yourself from the shackles of guilt and shame surrounding food, but also cultivate a positive relationship with eating. This mindset shift can have a profound impact on your overall health and well-being.
Imagine enjoying a piece of chocolate cake without the mental tally of calories consumed. Picture savoring a slice of pizza with friends without worrying about how it will affect your weight. With guilt-free eating, these scenarios can become a reality, allowing you to truly relish in the joy of food without the burden of guilt.
So how can you start incorporating guilt-free eating into your life?
The K.I.S.S. ~ Eat without the guilt! Let's look at what you can do to eat without the guilt. Now there is a concern. You have to be willing to get to know your body and listen intentionally to the cues it gives you.
If you can do that, you can eat without the guilt.
    MINDFULNESS
    1. Start with gratitude: Before each meal, take a moment to appreciate the food in front of you. Consider where it came from, how it nourishes your body, and the effort that went into preparing it.
    2. Engage your senses: As you eat, pay attention to the colors, textures, flavors, and smells of your food. Chew slowly, savoring each bite, and fully experiencing the sensory pleasure of eating.
    3. Practice mindful eating: Take the time to sit down at a table and focus solely on your meal. Avoid distractions like screens or multitasking, allowing yourself to truly be present and enjoy the experience of eating.
    MODERATION
    1. Portion control: Use smaller plates and bowls to help control portion sizes. Be mindful of serving sizes and listen to your body's hunger cues to prevent overeating.
    2. Plan indulgences: Enjoy your favorite treats in moderation by scheduling them into your week. This allows you to look forward to and fully appreciate these indulgences without guilt.
    3. Create balanced meals: Aim to include a variety of food groups in each meal, such as lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. Balancing your plate can help you feel satisfied and nourished without overeating.
    SELF-COMPASSION
    1. Challenge negative self-talk: Replace self-critical thoughts with kind and compassionate statements. Remind yourself that it's okay to indulge occasionally and that your worth is not defined by your food choices.
    2. Practice forgiveness: If you find yourself feeling guilty about a meal or snack, forgive yourself and move on. Remember that everyone has moments of indulgence, and it's important to show yourself grace and understanding.
    3. Focus on progress, not perfection: Recognize that establishing a healthy relationship with food is a journey. Celebrate small victories along the way and acknowledge the positive changes you're making in your eating habits.
When you incorporate mindfulness, moderation, and self-compassion into your daily routine, you can cultivate a positive and sustainable approach to eating.
Remember that guilt-free eating is about nourishing your body, enjoying food without guilt, and treating yourself

    3418 Anchor Your Stepping Stones

    3418 Anchor Your Stepping Stones

Failure is not the end; it is merely a stepping stone on the path to success. Every stumble, setback, and moment of defeat can serve as a valuable lesson that propels you forward. Anchor your stepping stones. In life, setbacks and failures can often shake us to our core, leaving us feeling lost and unsure of our next steps.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
Yet, during these moments of adversity, you have a unique opportunity to discover your inner strength and resilience.
You've probably experienced failure, and maybe all too recently, that knocked you off your feet. Instead of giving in to defeat, choose to rise up, dust yourself off, and appreciate the valuable lessons that failure offers.
Now, in the moment, failure doesn't seem positive. In fact, it's devastating most of the time. But put a twist on life. Set your feelings free to see that there is more to life than defeat.
"You can succeed when you fail!" ~ Kristianne Wargo
The K.I.S.S. ~ Anchor your stepping stones! But it comes to how you lead with your mind, how you anchor your stepping stones.
You can walk the river on top of the rocks that peak just above the water. But if you go too fast, you might slip and fall on the moss that has grown on it over the years.
In the face of failure, anchoring ourselves to the lessons learned along the way is crucial. These lessons act as guiding lights; it's like you can see the path more clearly. This makes room in your mind to experience hope, when standing in the middle of despair.
So why not embrace failure as a teacher so you can empower yourself to grow, learn, and ultimately thrive?
Remember, the journey from failure to success is not linear; it is a winding road filled with twists, turns, and unexpected challenges. Anchoring yourself to the wisdom gained from failure enables you to navigate this unpredictable terrain with grace and resilience.
With each setback, you have the opportunity to anchor another stepping stone in your path, building a foundation of experience, knowledge, and fortitude that will carry you forward.
Don't allow yourself to flounder in the face of failure. Don't give in to doubt. Don't let your enthusiasm fall because something didn't go your way. Failure may stir up uncertainty.
"When you don't have a clear answer, remain strong because you have anchored your stepping stones. Nothing is impossible until you quit." ~ Kristianne Wargo
So, the next time you face failure, embrace the lessons learned, stay steadfast in your resolve, and trust in your ability to rise up. You got what it takes!

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3417 Don't Let Life's Score Get You Down

3417 Don't Let Life's Score Get You Down

So much of our lives are built by other people's observations of how we are supposed to live our lives. Many people impress upon us what we can and cannot do. Don't let life's score get you down. However, that's exactly what we do. We surf our reels and discover how much we lack and what we need more of. We scroll through our Facebook feeds only to wish we were in a different position in life.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
How unfair is life? Or is it?
Maybe it's simply our perspective on how we choose to show up in our lives.
What if you knew who you are and who you are becoming?
You get to set the stage and show up the way God created you.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Create your now! Stop relying on other people's opinions and allowing them to dictate what you are capable of.
Your abilities, gifts, and talents are yours to determine and discover. So unbury what you thought wasn't possible, and look for the opportunity to try again.
This is your life to live. Life's score does not get the final number. You got this!
What can you do to create your now and not get rattled by what others think and how they score your life:
    1. **Believe in Yourself**: Your self-worth is not determined by others' opinions. Trust in your abilities and let your inner voice guide you towards your goals.
    2. **Focus on Your Journey**: Comparison is the thief of joy. Instead of worrying about how others perceive your life's score, concentrate on your progress, growth, and personal development.
    3. **Surround Yourself with Positivity**: Surround yourself with individuals who uplift and support you. Seek out constructive feedback and perspectives that align with your values and aspirations.
“Life's score does not define you; it empowers you to create a new melody of possibilities.” ~ Kristianne Wargo
CHALLENGE: What score is ruling your day? Consider the expectations placed on you and whether they are warranted. Are they what you need during this season of life?
Don't let life's score get you down.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3416 What Is In Your Heart?

3416 What Is In Your Heart?

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. ~ Luke 6:45 NLT In the depth of our being lies the essence of who we are - our heart, the very source of our thoughts, emotions, and intentions.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
It's days like this that we set aside time to look within, to reflect on what you are doing well and what needs to change.
Maybe you have noticed you are a little more agitated and short with your family.  Maybe you are more fussy than optimistic.  Maybe you are feeling drained and just want to challenge people with your words because you can. When we come to the realization that our hearts may be inclined towards negativity or weakness, why do we keep trying to do life by ourselves.
This is a reminder of the transformative work that can be done through Jesus Christ if we let Him. It takes courage to confront our shortcomings and acknowledge the areas where we need growth and renewal. But when we have the courage to be real and raw with ourselves, then that's the first step towards healing and restoration.
Scripture reminds us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
This promise signifies the profound change that is possible when we surrender our hearts to God and invite His grace to work within us.
But here's the thing-- You have to want to surrender. You have to want God's grace. You have to want God to work within you.
The K.I.S.S. ~ What is in your heart! In times of struggle and moments of weakness, it is vital to lean on God's promises and draw strength from His Word.
Romans 12:2 encourages us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
"In the journey of faith, our hearts may falter, but in Christ, we find the strength to rise again, renewed and restored." ~ Kristianne Wargo
This journey is not one of perfection but of perseverance, trusting that God's work within us is continuous and life-transforming.
    What is in your heart?
Do you need to call on God to change the things that come out of your mouth? If you do believe that you are stuck in a place of disbelief and wondering what God can do, don't hesitate to ask Him. Ask. Seek. And knock.
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." ~ Matthew 7:7
God does care about your vocabulary. God does care about your perspective. God does care about your heart. But do you?
Do you really want to make the shift and change what is not working?
Only you know the real truth.
May you take comfort in the fact that your weaknesses are opportunities for God's strength to shine through.
Embrace the journey of growth and restoration, knowing that your heart, when surrendered to God, can bear fruits of love, and grace-- transformation beyond measure.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

    3415 Nurture What Matters

    3415 Nurture What Matters

In the whirlwind of life’s responsibilities, it’s easy for the spark in a marriage to dim. For couples juggling the demands of life, the connection that once felt unbreakable can start to falter. So nurture what matters. You understand the demands of raising children, pursuing careers, focusing on others, and growing their finances are some of the few things that can distract couples from each other.
Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co
Here you said "I do," with the hopes of building a life together, but now the reality is that you are building a life, just not together (or so it seems).
These feelings are real and can affect your growth as a couple.
In fact, many find themselves asking, "Are we better together?"
I think most of us at the beginning of the honeymoon phase of marriage are enthusiastic about what it holds for us. Yet, when life happens, those enthusiastic dreams fade over time, eventually leaving them muted and sometimes permanently buried.
Why would you want the spark in your marriage to decline?  Why would you not give your best for your spouse?  Why would you give more to others than to the one you pledge to spend the rest of your life with? If you find yourself feeling distant from your spouse, it may be time to refocus on what truly matters in your relationship.
The K.I.S.S. ~ Rediscover your connection! When the closeness you once shared with your partner seems to be slipping away, it’s important to take proactive steps to nurture what truly matters.
So first, I want you to ask yourself, "What am I doing or NOT doing for my spouse?"
Keep everything in perspective and be real and raw. No more "well maybe"; it's YES or NO enthusiastically.
If you want to reignite the spark and nurture what matters, your enthusiasm to rediscover must be off the charts. So prepare your heart to do your part.
Here are three things you can do to reignite the flame:
    1. Prioritize Quality Time
Find moments in your busy schedule to dedicate to each other without distractions. Schedule regular date nights or mini getaways to reconnect and strengthen your bond. Even simple gestures like cooking a meal together or taking a leisurely walk can help you feel more connected.
Example: “Let's make time each week for an evening walk, just the two of us, to talk and unwind from our hectic days,” suggests marriage expert Jimmy Evans.
    2. Communicate Openly and Honestly
Set aside time to have meaningful conversations with your spouse. Share your feelings, concerns, and dreams with each other. Listening actively and empathetically can help bridge any emotional distance between you both.
Example: “Let's commit to having a weekly check-in where we share one thing we appreciate about each other and one thing we’d like to improve on in our marriage,” advises marriage coach Kristianne Wargo.
    3. Show Appreciation and Gratitude
Expressing gratitude for your partner (in words and actions) and showing appreciation for the little things they do can go a long way in nurturing a loving relationship. Small gestures like leaving a heartfelt note, surprising them with their favorite treat, or simply saying “I love you” can make a big impact.
Example: “Let's make a conscious effort to show gratitude towards each other daily, whether through words, actions, or thoughtful gestures,” recommends relationship advisor Jimmy Evans.
Remember, where you invest your time and actions reflects what you value in your marriage. By nurturing what truly matters, you can reignite the flame and strengthen the foundation of your relationship.
"In the garden of marriage, the seeds of love must be nurtured daily to bloom into a flourishing partnership." ~ Kristianne Wargo
Remember, it’s never too late to prioritize your relationship and nurture what matters most!

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
