This week's Eurostars on the show: Isaak, Saba, Dons, Aiko, Joost Klein, Besa
It is Eurovison 2024 rehearsal week and the Semi Final 1 was staged on 07 May 2024 with the Semi Final 2 to stage on 09 May 2024. The Top Ten of both Semi Finals meet the Big 5 countries and the Host National Sweden in the Grand Final on Saturday, 11 May 2024 to compete for the Trophy of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and the right to host Eurovision 2025. This week's edition of Radio International will be coming live from Malmö's Eurovision Media Centre at the usual time of 1900- 2300 hours CET.  
The Team of Radio International Has attended various Eurovision PreParties 2024 in the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and interviewed many of this years contestants. Some of them you already got to know on the show during the past weeks. In this week's edition we focus on the countries and artists that are competing in Semi Final 2 and the Grand Final. Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - Semi Final 2 and the Grand Final - Voting Results of the Radio International Jury:
Continuing from last week's show where JP revealed the results of the Radio International Jury for Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Over the last weeks 25 jury members cast their votes for the songs of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and the results are in. This week JP will reveal the results of the Radio International Jury for Semi Final 2 and the Grand Final playing the songs in the order of least points to top score. This week the show will come from Malmö and JP will be revealing then the results of Semi Final 2 and the Top 6 of the Grand Finalists (Big 5 and host country Sweden) and also JP will reveal the entire Top 37 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Let's see how right the Radio International Jury is, compared to the results that are coming after the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. After the PreParties across Europe, Delegations have arrived in Malmö to start rehearsing for the big Eurovision Song Contest 2024. It is also the final edition of Radio International before JP and the team is heading out to Malmoe. This week on the show meet some more of the Eurostars 2024 you will also see on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Salman, Marc and JP have met many of the acts at the pre-parties in Madrid, London and Amsterdam. Get ready to meet:  Windows95man (Finland) "No Rules", Bambie Thug (Ireland) "Doomsday Blue", Natalia Barbu (Moldova) "In the Middle", Aiko (Czechia) "Pedestal" and Teya Dora (Serbia) "Ramonda". Time permitting there will also be an interview with Marvin Dittman from Austria who is a stage choreographer for the Eurovision Song Contest. Salman met Marvin at the London PreParty this year for a chat what exactly his job is about.
Also on the show this week there is also an interview with Melina Borglowe from Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2024 who performed the song "Min melodi" in Heat 1.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - Semi Final 1 - Voting Results of the Radio International Jury:
Over the last weeks 25 jury members cast their votes for the songs of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and the results are in. This week JP will reveal the results of the Radio International Jury for Semi Final 1 playing the songs in the order of least points to top score. Next week the show will come from Malmö and JP will be revealing then the results of Semi Final 2 and the Top 6 of the Grand Finalists (Big 5 and host country Sweden) and also JP will reveal the entire Top 37 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Eurovision Spotlight - When Malmö hosted the Eurovsion Song Contest: Sweden has now equalized its victories with Ireland having won the Eurovision Song Contest seven times. Sweden's city Malmö hosted the Eurovision Song Contest twice and about a third time is to come. Eurovision 1992 came from the Malmö Isstadion and 2013 the venue was the same as in 2024 - the Malmö Arena. Alasdair Rendall will be joining JP in the studio for the special Eurovision Spotlight when Malmö hosted

 The Eurovision 2024 Pre-Party Season is in Full Swing!






 


The Eurovision PrePartyES 2024 in Madrid: On 29 and 30 Mar 2024 Eurovision-Spain.com invited for the 2024 edition of the Eurovision PreParty ES with the participation of Eurovision acts old and new. In total 50 acts from the Spanish Benidrom Fest and the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 performed in front of an enthusiastic Spanish and international Fan Base over two great party nights in La Salle de la Rivierea in Madrid, Spain. The Radio International Interview Team was on location to conduct as many interviews as possible and they will be broadcast on Radio International in the run up the Eurovision Song Contest to bring the 2024 Eurostars closer to the fans. From the Madrid PreParty Radio International will broadcast interviews with Windows95Man "No Rules" (Finland), Sarah Bonnici "Loop "(Malta), Teya Dora "Ramonda" (Serbia) and Baby Lasagne "Rim Tim Tagi Dim" (Crotatia) all being part of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. And there will be more in the next weeks.
The London Eurovision Party 2024:  After the Madrid Eurovision Party 2024 London followed it with the London Eurovidion Party 2024 on Sunday 07 April 2024 with the participaction of many Euroision 2024 acts. Radi International's Salman has attended the media event and interviewed some of the participating acts at the Eurovision Song Contest 202. This week on the show listen to Salman chatting with Natalie Barbu "In the Middle" (Moldova). More to come on the show next week. 
 

 
 
Eurovision in Concert 2024 in Amsterdam:  What once used to be a small Eurovision fan event that began in 2009 by a group of  Dutch Eurovision fans became the biggest Eurovision PreParty event and has reached a record number of audience being 7000 live spectators all enjoying the annual Eurovision Concert featuring the acts competing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Once again Eurovision in Concert 2024 was staged at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands with the participation of 30 acts. The event took place in the evening of Saturday, 13 April 2024 hosted by Cornald Maas and Eurovision Winner 1999 from Sweden, Charlotte Perrelli. During the soundcheck national and international media had the opportunity to conduct interviews with the artists.
