WCF 28.5-28.7 Of Baptism
We finish up the last 3 sections of the confession's chapter on baptism. We learn that it is a sin to neglect the command of baptism. We also learn that the efficacy of baptism, or the regenerating effect, is tied to the work of the Holy Spirit and not to the moment of baptism. And finally, baptism is to be done only once.

WCF 28.2-28.4 Of Baptism
We continue our study of baptism by discussing the proper way to baptize as well as who should baptize. We also discuss whom the recipients of baptism should be and why.

WCF 28.1b Of Baptism

WCF 28.1a Of Baptism
We begin our discussion on chapter 28 with regard to what the WCF teaches us about Baptism. Before diving it, we recap several previous chapters of the WCF dealing with the covenant of grace and the visible church. Baptism then, is a New Testament sacrifice, which finds its roots in the Old Testament. It's instituted by Christ and for our benefit - to give us grace by pointing us to the promises we receive through faith in Christ.

WCF 27.3-27.5 Of the Sacraments
We take on the second part of chapter 27 which discusses the grace conveyed in the sacraments. We also discuss the difference between validity and efficacy of the sacraments. The WCF ends with telling us that there are only two sacraments.
