The power of sacrifice|Rev C Sikanyika

The power of sacrifice|Rev C Sikanyika

    Message: The power of sacrifice

    Preaching: Rev C Sikanyika

Definition: Sacrifice is an act of slaughtering, surrendering a possession as an act of offering. Giving up something valuable for the sake of other considerations of higher value.

Paul urged the Romans to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice. You have to die to yourself, sacrifice all your desires so that another person comes fourth.(Romans 12:1)

Sacrifice makes a distinction, it is a painful act which offers greater rewards.

WHAT YOU CAN SACRIFICE TO GOD

    Time:

Time can’t control God, but God can influence time. Man didn’t bring time, God brought time for a reason. If you misuse time, you will never gain it. Age catches up with all of us, and we owe it to ourselves to use it wisely. Time is critical. Learn to sacrifice your time, understanding who gives everything. Sacrifice time for your God and the kingdom of God. As you sacrifice your time know that every labour for God is not in vain.

How have you used your time?

    Praise:

Sacrifice praise to God, Psalm 116:17. Let’s sacrifice time to praise the lord as we are living, our creator. For we don’t have time. The sick or the dead can’t praise the lord. God inhabits the praises of his children. You have to learn how to praise the name of the Lord.

You can sacrifice your possession Acts 2:45, we are blessed with possessions so that we may bless others with our possession. What a God blesses us with is not for our benefit alone, learn to sacrifice to a God. Genesis 22:1-7.

It took somebody’s life for you to be set free, the son of God was bruised for our transgressions. He died on the cross to sacrifice his own life, we owe him so much and the least we could do is sacrifice our time, praises and possessions.

    Stay blessed!!

The Power Of Making A Decision| Pastor Glenda Nalungwe Sikanyika

The Power Of Making A Decision| Pastor Glenda Nalungwe Sikanyika

Message:The Power Of Making A Decision

    Preaching: Pastor Glenda Nalungwe Sikanyika

We dive into Joshua chapter 24, were Joshua was narrating to the elders and everyone that I and my household shall serve the Lord, to sway them from serving other idols. In so doing Joshua was trying to create a firm foundation for children of Israel, so that they may make better choices for the children and future of Isreal. Power in the choices we make, was displayed in this passage of scripture. However, the goal was to help the children of Israel make the better choices. The best choice you can make for someone is to help them follow Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Make sure that the choices we are led to are choices of life and to have an encounter with God.

There choices that we may have made or people have made on our behalf, it is never to late to start afresh and follow Jesus  and foreseek those idols we've been introduced to. Jesus is always available and he is waiting for us to make that choice to follow him.

The power that lies in choice is cappable of changing the trajectory of your life. It doesn't matter your age for you to turn around your life. No one is too far gone. Regardless of the situation, self pitty won't take you out of that situation, refuse to be a consequence of the choices made for you. Be brave to make those choices, for your future, children, career or profession.

The goodness of God gives us the choice to make our own decisions whilst giving us the ability to see the consequences of our decisions. Giving us the freedom of choice too. And if you miss it for the first time, you can still go back to the cross. When you see things are not okay after making a decison, God has given us the freedom to re-evaluate our choices and make better decisions.

However, how is it that we fail to settle in the house of the Lord, when God has given us the ability to choose the path of rigtheousness. Why is it so hard to be obedient to the calling of God? When he has promised us eternal life and so much more. This day we pray that you make this decision for your life and future generations. Lets make the decision to follow Christ and submit to him. It is time to be submissive like the likes of Elisha and Timothy in the bible. Decide to do well, make better decisions.

    Choices we make every day:

    1. Choices made on behalf of you.

    2. Choices we make for ourselves.

Three types of people- Pastor Glenda Sikanyika

Three types of people- Pastor Glenda Sikanyika

Sunday service Preaching: Pastor Glenda Nalungwe Message title: There are three types of people, 1. The by the way 2. The on the way 3. The In the way THE BY THE WAY Acts 14:19 These people are by passers they are found everywhere, In churches, work places and so onThey are negative influencers especially in the church, they create stories to discourage others. They have no mercy. They are critical people. They are angry all the time. They are bitter. They live in self pity. They are always negatively influencing others in the church. *THE.ON THE WAY* These are the kind of people that go on and never give up. They are never discourage, these listen to all that is talked of them but never react. They do not mind what is talked of them for they have their minds fixed on who they carry in them. Philippians 3:12-13 As someone *on the way* never hold onto your past experiences or even let them hinder your goal. Work hard and stay focused on the Lord and his reward. Don't look around but rather ahead. THE IN THE WAY These kind of people stand in as the good obstacles of life against the enemy. They are always there to obstruct their enemies n all evil that comes in their way. They know their ground and stand in it. They stand to defend the gospel of Christ Jesus. For they are prisoner's of Christ Jesus and for this they are never alone but rather with Christ and those in to pray for them. They do not fear. Stay blessed family ❤️
