Here’s the Who, What, Where, Why, and How of what this Podcast will cover!

    WHO is this Podcast about?

I am joined by Dominick Manfredo, Chief Executive Officer at the Community at Sunset Wood. In addition to his role at Sunset Wood, Dominick is a Managing Member at the Offices at 287 Genesee Street in Utica. I'm intrigued by Dominick's story and how he got to where he is today, so I'm excited for you to learn more about him.

    WHAT are we talking about?

Dominick gives us the inside scoop about his path to success. He tells us about what it was like growing up in the Utica area, and how staying within a community of like-minded individuals supported his entrepreneurial efforts in the Central New York area. Additionally, Dominick tells us what it’s like to lead the charge as Chief Executive Officer at Sunset Wood, a long-term care facility in CNY, and how he navigated the challenges we’ve seen as it relates to COVID-19.

    WHERE can you find Dominick?
    Dominick’s LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/dominick-m-manfredo-24074542/

    WHY are they doing it?

Dominick came back to the Utica area after traveling throughout the East Coast for a few years post-college. He found that Central New York would be the perfect place to continue networking and build a small business. Dominick found that the Utica area is unique in that there is a lot of support for small businesses. This area is small enough to know people personally but large enough to allow small business owners to really grow and scale their business.

HOW did they start their journey?

Dominick started his journey by building transferable skills in his early adult life. As a traveling car salesman, who transitioned to a focus on building a solid foundation in marketing, Dominick found that he was well prepared to start taking bigger risks with bigger upside for opportunity. One thing that has remained consistent throughout his success is the desire to be a sponge. He asked questions, he got curious, he put his learnings to the test and truly built an empire of hard work.
