First of all, if your child is in toddler age and have just started communicating with you ask them to greet every single person you interact with ask him or her to say Hi,hello or Salam to friends. if you are in Mall,parks or any public places ask your kids to be first in saying hello to their age fellows.This would overcome their shy attitude from that age.

Instead of asking teachers to make their kids participate in class morning assembly,create a youtube channel and make short videos of their speeches,poems or their new cartwheel activity or any other challenge in which they feel like a pro.This would automatically boost their inner confidence.
