We are so excited for this month's guest: friend and kindred rave spirit, Mutualism! We've had the pleasure of sharing party spaces with her a few times and are in constant awe of how much positive energy she brings both as a DJ and as a fully-actualized rave FORCE on the dancefloor.
Mutualism is a seasoned raver, event organizer, record collector, and DJ with a diverse style ranging from pretty to pretty bonkers. To facilitate ecstatic dance floor moments and community building, she created the family-friendly renegade park party Hernando’s Hideaway as well as Real Love which celebrated femme and nonbinary DJs and live acts. As a member of the Strange Allure collaborative, she has worked to execute some of Buffalo, NY’s most memorable underground parties of recent times. Now she spends her weekdays teaching music and art to the next generation—and yes, there are dance parties in class.
