ಈ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಥೆನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ನೀತಿ ಏನೆಂದರೆ , ಇತರರ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅಸೂಯೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ದುರಾಸೆಯ ನಾಯಿಯಂತೆ ನಾವು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ (If we envy about the things that others have then we
will definitely loose what we have with us at present).

ಈ ಕತೆಯ ಸಾರಾಂಶ ಸ್ನೇಹವನ್ನು ಗಾತ್ರ, ಬಣ್ಣ, ಜಾತಿ, ಬುದ್ದಿವಂತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳೆಯಬೇಡಿ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹವನ್ನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಎಂಬುದು.

The summary of this story is that don't measure friendship by size, colour, caste, or intelligence but accept friendship with trust, love and respect.

ಈ ಕತೆಯ ಸಾರಾಂಶ -ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರನ ಕೊಡ್ದೆ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ಯಾವ ಸುಖಾನು ಕಾಣಲ್ಲ, ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರನೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ.

Summary of this story - freedom is more important than the facilities.

ಈ ಕತೆಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ “ದುರಾಸೆಯೇ ದುಃಖದ ಮೂಲ”.

This story tells us that “Greed is the root of misery”.

One must not be coward to face problems in life.
