The blood covenant at mount Sinai was broken. As a result, Yeshua reNEWed the covenant.
The reNEWed covenant is the Torah written upon our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Yeshua is the representative of the reNEWed covenant and it confirms the promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
In the new covenant, we are saved by grace through faith. After we are saved by grace through faith, we are to follow the Torah of Yeshua by the Holy Spirit to show our love to Him.

In the new covenant, Yeshua is the blood sacrifice. He made the ‘walk of blood’ in being beaten prior to and through dying on the tree.
The sign of the new covenant is a circumcised heart as well as the work of the Holy Spirit to produce the fruit of the Spirit.

In the new covenant, we are promised a resurrected body and being able to spend eternity with Yeshua as His Bride in the New Jerusalem.
Our faithfulness in service to Yeshua will determine our level of rewards (inheritance) in His Kingdom.

Keeping the statutes and judgments of Yeshua are linked with “Do and Live”.

And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all thy soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do and you shall live. Luke 10:27-28

You shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD. Leviticus 18:5
The two greatest commandments are linked with Choqim (statutes) and Mishpatim (judgments).

We follow the righteousness of the Torah by the Holy Spirit. Yeshua is the sacrifice in cutting this covenant. There is a covenant walk of blood, done by Yeshua. There is a covenant seal, which is the indwelling Holy Spirit. There is a covenant meal, which is Passover.
If we are unfaithful in service, we will lose rewards. If we are faithful in service to Yeshua, we will receive reward. Yeshua is to be the king of our life.

In this teaching segment, we will be learning about the new covenant. Yeshua is the representative of this covenant.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him …Isaiah 42:1

How much more shall the blood of Yeshua who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God …Hebrews 9:14

The new covenant is the Torah written upon our heart (Jeremiah 31;31-33).
Yeshua came to confirm the promises made to the fathers. (Romans 15:8)

In this covenant, there is an exchange of garments: we receive forgiveness of sin and Yeshua’s robe of righteousness when we repent of our sin.

The blessings of this covenant include:
*we become a member of the family of Yeshua
*we receive eternal life
*as part of the bride, we will rule and reign with Yeshua

A disciple of Yeshua will walk as He walked. The two greatest commandments are associated with do and live (Luke 10:25-28).

By keeping the statutes (choqim) we express our love to the God of Israel. Statutes include:
*Keeping the Sabbath and the biblical Feast days
*Eating biblically clean food

We are also to keep the judgments (mishpatim) to express our love for Yeshua. The heart of following the mishpatim is how we treat others:

You shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:18

Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 7:12

There are other terms and conditions for keeping the covenant that are covered in this segment. The blessings for keeping the covenant are infinite. One of the curses for breaking the covenant is exile into the nations.

The Mt Sinai covenant involved the sprinkling of blood. (Exodus 24:6,8).

The Mt Sinai covenant also involved a covenant oath and a covenant meal.

Yeshua has a “controversy” against Israel. Yeshua has a covenant lawsuit against Judah, against Ephraim and against the Levites. The new covenant is the Torah written upon our heart (Jeremiah 31:31-33).

The messenger of the LORD is the judge, lawgiver, king and savior:
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Isaiah 33:22

Yeshua is the lawgiver. He gave the Torah at Mount Sinai. At Mount Sinai there was a wedding. The Torah is the ketubah. The House of Jacob agreed to get married:
And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD. Exodus 19:8
All believers in Yeshua were redeemed from Egypt. Yeshua made a blood covenant at Mount Sinai. The Abraham covenant is linked to the Mount Sinai covenant.

And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage …
And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. Exodus 2:23-24

The terms of the Mount Sinai covenant were the following:
*“Keep my covenant, that is, follow the Torah, and you will be a Kingdom of Priest”.

*Keep my covenant is one Torah for the Jew and for the non-Jew.”

Yeshua gave the Torah at mount Sinai. It was a blood covenant.
Believers in Yeshua as Messiah are to see themselves as if they were at mount Sinai and that they are part of the covenant.

At mount Sinai, there was a marriage between Yeshua and the nation of Israel. The marriage covenant is based upon obedience to Torah.
The Torah is divided into statutes (decrees from the lawgiver) and judgments (how we treat other people).

Some of the statutes include keeping the weekly Sabbath, the annual Festivals, the new moon and the dietary laws.
The judgments are summarized with the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

The same Torah was given to both Jew and non-Jew.
One of the curses for breaking the covenant is exile into the nations.
