The American healthcare system is plagued with many inequalities, disproportionately impacting people of color and other marginalized groups. While many millions of people are affected, black people living in the United States bear the brunt of these healthcare disparities. In the remainder of this podcast, our group of four will go onto exam the state of healthcare coverage from several distinct disciplines of study: political science, business, nursing and art.

The American healthcare system is plagued with many inequalities, disproportionately impacting people of color and other marginalized groups. While many millions of people are affected, Black people living in the United States bear the brunt of these health care disparities. In the remainder of this podcast, our group of four will go on to examine the state of health care coverage from several distinct disciplines of study: political science, business, nursing, and art. By presenting this diversity of approaches, we will offer a succinct examination of the current state of medical care for the Black community in the U.S. and shed light on the critical factors that uniquely impact their health outcomes.
