How to be independently happy. Seek not the approval of others‪.‬ You 2.0

Being independently happy is where we take responsibility for our own well-being regardless of our current circumstances.

One way we our happiness stay dependent on other is the need and want of the approval of others. 

When we want the approval of others we give away all of our power to love ourselves. 

We give all our power away to mom, sister, dad, but is even more fascinating is when we give our power away to neighbors, strangers or people we don’t even have a desire to have in our lives. 

Why?  Why do we care?  Why do we do it?

Some of it is because we are human, naturally most of us want to be like, approved of,  and part of the group. And the other part of it comes from  I not loving our own self and hoping others will do it for us. And when they don’t, we feel terrible.
