Hurricane Season: The Podcast Mark Sudduth

Will the quiet pattern across the Atlantic Basin last throughout the remainder of October? It seems possible but the GFS model may have something to say about that. 

Meanwhile, another system is developing in the eastern Pacific with impacts coming up for southern Mexico early next week.

While the Atlantic remains quiet for now, there are some signs in the longer range guidance that things will eventually change as we head towards the end of the month. In the meantime, we will watch an area of interest in the eastern Pacific for the potential for further development as it moves generally towards Mexico over the coming days.
