We Believe in Jesus
Jesus is the centerpiece of salvation, fully divine and fully human, and worthy of all praise and glory forever.
• The center of the Apostles Creed is all about Jesus, highlighting the central role of Jesus in the Christian faith.
• The resurrection of Jesus is super important, as if he stayed dead, he's not who he said he was.
• Colossians 2:9 says that in Christ, all the fullness of God lives in a human body, emphasizing the divinity of Jesus.
• Every knee should bow and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord
• Understanding Jesus's full range of emotions and experiences helps us see him as a relatable and compassionate God who walks among us.
• Jesus is fully God and fully man, not a demigod, but completely and truly both.
• Jesus, as the second person of the Eternal Godhead, became fully human while retaining his full Divinity, leading to the theological concept of the hypostatic union.
